If you are planning to go to a concert or the theatre on New Year's Eve or would like to spend New Year in the "open air" on the New Year circuit adjacent to St Stephen's Cathedral, or to dance away on the Rathausplatz (within 5 minutes walk) the restaurant offers just the thing for you with its "Silvester Matinee" between 5 PM and 8 PM. The restaurant serves a 4-course dinner in the Prelate's Hall with professionally performed Viennese melodies. As a highlight of this early evening meal, the restaurant invites you to take part in the hat and wine parade in the museums which belong to the restaurant in the wine cellar of the building and to drink to the New Year with a small glass of New Year sparkling wine served in a champagne flute.
