As a highlight of your invitation for the beginning or a fitting end to your evening, before or after the dessert, order a small glass to raise your glasses in the wine cellar of the restaurant during an entertaining visit to the Emperor Franz Joseph Hat Museum and Imperial and Royal Wine Treasue Vault and their wine collection.
During the guided tour of the museums belonging to the restaurant, the Emperor Franz Joseph Hat Museum and the Imperial and Royal Wine Treasure Vault, visitors may - in contrast to the traditional museum fare, rather than just merely viewing antiquated objects - can also try on the treasures from the hat collection and even taste wine from the vinotheque in the wine vault - a treat for the palate, heart and soul!
You and your guests will enjoy the same style of sparkling wines that were drunk at the Imperial Court and will thus experience the sociability and the spirit of the era of the "Imperial and Royal Empire".
Hat selfie only, at the museum cloakroom, without a guided tour
Ticket Price per person € 7,50 for a hat selfie at the Hat Museum’s cloakroom (excluding a museum tour). To visit the Hat Museum cloakroom in this manner, you must purchase a ticket from the restaurant manager (€ 7,50 per person); this ticket entitles you to take a souvenir selfie with an original hat at the museum cloakroom to make 1 selfie.
Condition: Hats may not be retrieved from the museum cloakroom on a self-service basis; this must be done exclusively by museum staff. (Restaurants)

If, on the day of your visit, there is already an event with other parties taking place in the Musuem of the Piarist Cellar, which includes a program in the Hat Museum or in the wine cellar, and in this case the 200 candles on the way to the deep barrel vault have already been lit, it is possible to take part to clarify on a tour. Please ask the service manager or the managing director KR Emberger about such an option.
